Interview

OBJECTIVE

To gain an understanding of production proposal development, basic interview techniques, as well as pre-production, production, and editing techniques.

DESCRIPTION

You will interview and create a 2-3 minute video clip of an honoree from the Mass Communication Hall of Fame (HoF).

A set of interview questions will be provided. You must use these questions to have some consistency between the video clips but you are free to ask more questions.

The clip may use appropriate B-roll to support the interview but it should not be the majority of the clip.

The completed video clip will be presented on your YouTube Channel. It will also be displayed with the HoF honoree’s profile on the FourWindsInteractive digital sign planned for the wall near the center of the John Bragg Mass Communication Building.

You will format,  encode, and upload the 2-3 minute video clip of the interview to your  YouTube channel, embed the video clip in a post on your website, and share the video clip on all of your social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) with the hashtag #emc3210.
